Tomorrow, the bay of Palma will be graced by the sails of the most beautiful of classic yachts. I am crazy not to be there this year. I imagine the busy movements at the pier this afternoon, crew arriving, yachts arriving from far away places, people meeting who haven't seen each other for a long time. Nationalities from all over the world. The XX Trofeo Almirante Conde De Barcelona is one of a series of yacht races in the late summer Mediterranean. This is the place to be for all with a passion for classic yachts. But it´s not just for boat lovers per se. To me, someone who has mostly lived far away from the sea, it was the search for adventure that carried me to the boats and away over the blue. A soulwalk where these kind of craft and the lifestyle surrounding them gave my search the right setting. You are offered a rare sight. Shooting stars over the glittering blue ocean. I miss the water.
