Iranians arrested for blogging
Imagine you get detained for posting your thoughts on social and political issues. Unthinkable you might think. In Iran however the government might feel you are "disturbing the public mind".
I found this in a news article on the Bobs website. Stop censoring us, a blog about the internet censorship in Iran, keeps track of these scare tactics.
What good does this do? What's any unfettered mind supposed to think? At least we are reminded of how ridiculous, offending, blunt, hostile and coward the actions of dogmatic people with power get, when they feel threatend. They should, I think. In the long run, they can´t stop the diffusion of opposing views. They are probably just slowing down their own defeat.
