Geometry of the arc

Arcs don't speak. So I'll do the talking for mine. Its construction is based on the numbers of my birth date. The geometry allows only numbers 23, 11, and 77 as input.

The shape produced is an arc for reasons I am still discovering: An open circle reflects my thinking more than a perfect circle. An almost closed circle has the quality of being unequivocal in its destined shape. It serves as a reminder of the path to seek; one that values beauty and natural laws.

The arc has a stroke weight of 11 mm and a diameter of 23 mm. Evidently.

The influences of my choice are mostly located to the west of my physical location. The open sector is therefore turned westward. It starts at 77 degrees, and ends after another 77 degrees.

The arc is strictly black at 77% opacity. It is set in front of a circle-shaped halo. The halo can take any color at 23% opacity.

The fancy fluid trailing the arc is a reference to my entropic nature1 — a result of frequently using coconut flakes in my meals? No, it can't be that. But once focus is released from one area, I catapult into another. I keep expanding and searching, even though I no longer describe that process as quixotic engineeering.

That's it.

1. entropic nature – defined by me loosely as a level of activity at which apparent energy invested is higher than true usable energy (compare to apparent wind). A body in this state grows patterns of activity with the confidence (happy-go-lucky) that an order is achieved at the expense of not realizing (recipe thinking) it right away.
