Sifting through messages that are off-topic, or that lack information, is just... i don't even know a word for that. Boring? A catastrophic waste of brainpower. regex_replace is one of Movable Type's tag modifiers. The new layout of alexome.com, completed in January 2008, is based largely on the power of this tag. I am quiet happy about it. It gives this blog something that is quiet unlike the usual blog experience.

The artists with whom i work come from all corners of the planet. I run this project like a workshop. You bring your crayons and take a stab at the design template. Then i snap with my fingers and before you know, your little fantasy is a real thing.

Becket and the temptors

Murder in the Cathedral is a poetic drama, written by T.S. Eliot in 1935. It describes a series of events leading up to the murder of Archbishop Thomas à Becket in Canterbury Cathedral in 1170. On January 11, 2001, Princess Monica zu Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg introduced a theatrical performance as the best interpretation of Murder in the Cathedral to be witnessed on German soil.

A business that perseveres does something right. It might have found a niche where it is positioned well to continue operating. Positioning strategies are a chore for business consultants. Positioning locates a company (or product) along a set of dimensions that define the environment for the company. A visual representation in its simplest form usually relies on a two-dimensional diagram. But how should a framework be designed to accomodate a great number of variables and still be easily accessible? How should the variables be visualized to appeal to the eye and allow quick inferences?
